One of the requests that I’ve had a few times is for restaurants that are also good sunrise or sunset spots. What better way to enjoy dinner, or breakfast, then with a sensational backdrop. It is especially popular when you’re on holiday, living your best life away from the humdrum of the every day.
That’s why this fortnight on ‘The Sunrise Chaser’ we’ll be delving into eating establishments that have exceptional views. Taking in vistas from around the world, in the hopes that you might visit them one day.

This week TikTok creator @amyhnguyen caught this gorgeous sun down at a restaurant in Mexico. Situated in Los Cabos this is the delightful Sunset Monalisa, doing what is says on the tin.

Somewhere a lot of you will no doubt be heading in the upcoming months is Greece and one of the most popular spots is the island of Santorini. Here ‘Where’s the rooftop’ gives tips on two restaurants with sublime sunset views.

Whenever I travel somewhere I am often looking for places to stay that have a unique or mind-blowing view.
Hotels and restaurants go hand in hand, and no where is there a more delicious combo of dinner and views than Relais Blu in Massa Lubrense, Italy. In the distance the island of Capri invitingly sits on the horizon. This majestic view was capture by @travelbuddyau.

Items that can help you be a better sky chaser.
One way to enjoy a dinner and sunset is through a cruise. All over the world, at this moment in time, people will be taking to the water to watch the sun go down as they tuck into a meal. It’s with that in mind that I’m sharing two wonderful options for sunset cruises both on the booking platform Klook. Sunrise was a bit harder to find, but this suggestion of a restaurant in Koh Lanta, Thailand from @roamingremotely is a good option - and who needs another reason to visit Thailand! This spot is called Viewpoint Restaurant, another one that does what it says.

On the flip side there is a plethora of sunset restaurants around the world to see the sun descend into the horizon whilst you enjoy a good feed. This one in Lisbon, Portugal from @isa__m_ caught my eye. You can see why Restaurante Ponto Final is one of the most famous in the whole country.
